Growing up at 25 Taylorwood Drive in the Edenbridge and North Drive neighborhood of Etobicoke, Ed attended Buttonwood Public School, Hilltop Middle School, and Scarlett Heights Collegiate Institute. These early experiences and his deep-seated connection to West Toronto instilled in him a strong sense of adaptability, resilience, and a profound appreciation for community values, principles that continue to guide his practice today.

Holding a General Business Diploma from Humber College, he was raised in an environment defined by dedication and professionalism. His father, a respected dentist, initially practiced out of the historic Medical Arts Building at Bloor and St. George before relocating to Cumberland Street in Yorkville during its vibrant bohemian era in 1967. Watching his father build a thriving practice based on unwavering trust, a stellar reputation, and long-term client relationships fundamentally shaped Ed's own approach to business and client advocacy.
